Who is Visionaire, Inc.?
Visionaire
designs, builds, and markets air conditioning, heating, and ventilation
solutions for heavy duty off-road equipment. Visionaire's products are purpose
built for work equipment and are not adapted from or suitable for use on over
the road vehicles. They are more costly and much more heavily constructed than
aftermarket “truck” air conditioners of similar capacity. Visionaire systems are
designed to provide reliable service in extreme conditions. Our air
conditioners are usually sold as a complete system with a condenser, evaporator,
and compressor. The parts we sell are designed and guaranteed to work
properly together.
Specific features and benefits of Visionaire, Inc. air conditioners.
Steel construction: Visionaire, Inc. air conditioners are made of powdercoated 16 gauge and 10 gauge steel. Hydraulic compressor mounts are made of 1/4” steel plate. Most joints are welded. “Overbuilt” is a good way to describe Visionaire, Inc. air conditioners. They withstand the minor impacts and abuse that is common on the work site. They are seldom so badly damaged as to be unrepairable.
Hydraulic components are oversized and run below their rated capacities. That means they run quieter and last longer than competitive units.
Visionaire, Inc. air conditioners are service-friendly. Standard parts are used whenever possible. We avoid proprietary parts and wiring to make service simple and intuitive. While Visionaire stocks a wide variety of parts for same day shipment, many common service items on Visionaire air conditioners are readily locally available. Easy service means minimum downtime.
Long refrigerant hose lengths from engine mounted compressors to cabs are a common source of leaks and poor performance on heavy equipment air conditioners. Our popular hydraulic drive systems include all components mounted together. All of the refrigerant plumbing has already been done and the system is charged eliminating the need for an A/C technician during installation. These units feature short protected lengths of refrigerant hose. (Of course, units with heaters will also need a source of engine coolant or hot hydraulic or transmission oil) Our hydraulic air conditioners have been popular with the railroads and with rail, mining, and oilfield equipment OEM's. These air conditioners have all or most of their mechanical components mounted outside of the cab.
